September Cool Cat of the Month: Meet Princess aka Little P!

Written by

Sharilyn Vera

We talked to PrettyLitter subscriber Meredith P. about Little P and here’s what she had to say:

Princess came to live with us just as the pandemic was starting to rear its ugly head.  Princess, aka “Little P” was in an Animal Shelter in Virginia Beach, VA.  P was 12 years old at the time, had been diagnosed with a heart condition, and clearly hadn’t received much love in her life. P is a Turkish Angora whom we thought was used to breed and had little people and animal interaction. Thinking no one would take P home because she was older and had medical problems, both my husband and I thought we just couldn’t live with that. P now has a very pampered life with 4 brothers and sisters – 2 cats and 2 dogs, is no longer on any heart medication, has a fantastic appetite, is quite playful, and has acclimated to her new life and routine like a champ. Although P is not the most affectionate girl, she has come a long way in her time with our family and has fulfilled our lives and our fur babies lives in countless ways.    We are so blessed and thankful to have her with us.

Little P’s Favorite Pastimes:

Sleeping, eating and hissing - it was the only way I knew how to show love!!!!

Most Mischievous Behavior:

Clawing at the furniture.

If your cat could have one thing unlimited for the rest of time, what would it be?

Roll around in catnip.

Thank you for sharing your story, Meredith and Little P!
